  I just wanted to review Cornell in the photo department who went way above and beyond for me today. He was friendly and enjoyable to talk to. I came here after a not great experience at the Walgreens down the road at 501 W. Roosevelt and Canal. Cornell completely erased the bad Walgreens taste that the women working at the 501 W. Roosevelt gave me.

  The pharmacy at this store is the most horrific pharmacy I have ever been to. Thank goodness I am moving and never, ever have to set foot in that place again. I presented a copayment card to the pharmacy today, and Howard, the pharmacist, and the technician said the card wouldn't work. I worked at Walgreen's for 8 years and am a pharmacist myself. I know for absolute certain that it would work, but I can't just walk behind the counter and do it myself. They said they would be more than happy to try it, but said it would take 30 minutes. Again, having worked at Walgreen's previously, and working at another pharmacy now (which unfortunately I can't use thanks to my insurance), I know my request takes about 1 minute. Meanwhile I stood and waited in line for 15 min while they ran 5 new prescriptions for the patient in front of me. The unwillingness to even attempt to input the copayment card for me is unacceptable. I have a zero tolerance for incompetence, and I feel so sorry for patients who don't know any better that they are being screwed by their local pharmacist.
