  Only one staff member was kind. Generally, not very warm staff, not very knowledgeable either. My question was not understood before it was attempted to be answered. A plant I bought died in a few days after extremely careful care that I learned to do by personal research because the store didn't prepare me at all. I wanted to know if refunds were accepted but it seemed the concern was being dodged by talking about the plant.

  I live in the irving park area and normally go here for my plant needs. Nice and small local place. They have a nice variety of flowers and offer weekly specials. I stopped by today and asked for a school donation for a bag or two of soil for a terrarium project i have planned at school. Didnt think it was going to be a big deal for the business to donate back $10 worth of soil but surprisingly it was. Owner said they already have chosen places they donate to. Good to know, thank you, and best of luck!
