  I saved for a long time before I could afford the type of ring I hoped to buy my soon to be wife. We are very old school and did not talk about or go ring shopping at all. I probably don't have to tell you what that means, but just in case: I didn't know jack about this sort of thing. When I had FINALLY saved enough to think about making a purchase, I didn't even know where to start. Luckily, I was talking about my serious lack of ring knowledge at work and a buddy pointed me in the direction of Donna Jewelry. Donna's was the very first place I was going to look for the ring, so I asked my friend to come with me (I didn't want to seem too interested and get suckered into something over-priced). Boy did I have the wrong attitude. Donna and the whole family was nothing but kind, accommodating, and honest. They didn't show me rings I couldn't really afford, and helped educate me about what I was buying. I left Donna's saying I was going to shop around and come back if I'd like to make a serious purchase. I went straight home and called my aunt who worked in the jewelry business for over 30 years. After telling her the specifics of the diamond, band, and price she went to work trying to find me the same or better through her contacts. No luck! She came back and quoted me a price that was 2K+ over what Donna offered and was lacking in quality!!! Needless to say, I went straight back to Donna's. Not only did they work with my budget, but I found the perfect stone and they literally MADE the entire thing. Guys, let me tell you, there is nothing like telling your future bride: "This is one of a kind--I had it made just for you." You may think this review couldn't get better, but when I went to see the ring after it was completed, they told me that they had added 2 extra diamonds to the band. They remembered that I originally wanted a full diamond band, but could not truly afford it. I mean COME ON! This family is in the business of making dreams come true, and nothing anyone says can convince me otherwise. Donna, if you read this: SHE SAID YES! Also, we can't wait to come in and get our bands from you guys. GO. TO. DONNA. JEWELRY.
